I’m just having a lot of feels right now.
I’m rereading an old series I used to adore and it so wonderful. Every time i see a character I love it’s like meeting an old friend you haven’t talked to in a long time and all the wonderful memories you have of them come rushing back.
It’s making my heart hurt in the most exquisite way and I just want you to know: I love you, friends. Even if we don’t talk as often as we used to, you will always have a place in my heart and every time we do talk it’s like reopening a favorite book.
whenever i’m sad i like to imagine what possible crime Steve Irwin’s ancestor committed to warrant him being sent to Australia like some Victorian gentleman escorting a lady to the zoo past the crocodile enclosure and going “do you see that great wyrm sunning itself there? quite a striking creature, is it not? I do believe I shall engage it in fisticuffs.”
So, I am really unabashedly fond of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. The comic and the movie, both are great. It’s fun, ridiculous, nerdy and all of that good stuff. Most importantly though it’s sort of punctuated the most recent ridiculous events in my life.
theargylegargoyle replied to your post: Honored to see you, my Thane. I see you’ve taken to wearing an amulet of Mara as of late. Pray, have you considered… us? That is to say, I am sworn to carry your burdens, cook, clean, and look after your house. In aught ways, we are already bound to each other. Why not head to Riften and make it official? I am your sword and shield, in sickness and in health, til Arkay claim me.
Don’t trust her. You saw what she was like to your orc-husbando.
Didn’t we have a conversation where we determined she was actually way less Passive-aggressive sounding after I started a new game and married Farkas instead? Maybe she’s just Orc-Racist?
So I do graphic design, and am Senior Staff over at the SCP wiki, so I figured it was high-time to combine the two.
This is an ongoing project. I’m going to try and make these minimalist posters for as many SCPs as I can.
Do it! It can be done very well with barely any stripping, actually.
I’m at the point in the night where I’m actually considering it. I know there’s a place in Austin that does classes for beginners and whatnot.
You realize it’s still monday, right?
Not where I am >:D
Following up on something TheArgyleGargoyle did a few days ago I made myself as a trainer. Or rather, a cutesy idealized version of myself as a trainer. I borrowed Robin’s Made up Prismatic Coast region.
This is Lindsay Lemonayde, or as her students call her Miss Lemonayde. She’s a teacher in Brook Town. When she was fifteen she started the gym circuit and defeated the elite four but found that having completed her life goal of becoming a Pokemon champion by the age of Seventeen she found herself feeling rather lacking. So she did the only thing she could think to do and went to school to become a teacher! She hopes to spread the message of love and friendship that comes with being a Pokemon trainer to her students.
She is still good friends with her traveling companions from her adventuring days and several of the Gym Leaders she defeated still keep in contact with her. During the summers she travels the region visiting friends and training up her team to keep them on their toes.
You can’t be helium. You react too much.
I am definitely Helium
I am high-pitched and lighter than air.
So, TheArgyleGargoyle, ItsAndyTime, Daruncic, and I went to the county fair. It was ghetto and wonderful. We rode beautiful hell ponies on the merry-go-round and took pictures of all of the derp decorations.
Good times were had, allergies were kicked into high gear, and more money was spent that was strictly necessary.
So, It’s the day after AnimeFest and I’m a weird swirling mass of emotions. It was fun but it was basically a roller-coaster of highs and lows for everyone. Luckily more up than down. It started out sort of rough, two of my friends got off on the wrong foot due to a misunderstanding and I’m really hoping I can help mend it in time for the next convention so we can all hang out and I don’t need to split my time between the two.
The people I was rooming with are kind of amazing: Momaya, GeneralIvan, and his lovely girlfriend Antipediophobe along with two of my University friends ItsAndyTime and TheArgyleGargoyle. There was much laughing and silliness in the wee hours of the morning.
The Homestuck photoshoot was a small disaster, Too many people and not enough Momayas to go around and herd people into place. We did get the shots though and that’s what counts. However I was super stressed and no fun to be around. I had to channel Bitch Kanaya at one point and tell off this awful little Ita Lolita girl during the shoot but that’s of no real consequence.
Let me just say that I really am fond of all of the people I roomed with, thank you for making my AnimeFest wonderful :)
He showed me a picture of Equius’ head pasted on a human man’s body. It was flexing. Nothing is right with the world.
